The Oyo State Police Command has arrested four

daughter. Commissioner of Police in the state,
Sam Okaula, said the clergy reported the
robbery at the Sanyo Police Division on July 21, a
day after the incident:
"The pastor reported that around 11.45pm,
four armed robbers jumped into his
compound and ordered him to open the
door which he did at gun point. They
ordered those in the house to lie down while
they gathered valuable items.
"A Sony laptop, one Samsung I-pad, three
mobile telephones, six wrist watches,
N200,000 and other valuables were stolen
from the house.
"A blue Toyota car with number plate,
MK382 AAA, and a Mercedes Benz, marked,
GGE 278 CK, were taken away.
"His daughter was also rapéd by one of the
suspected robbers."
The commissioner said investigation by police led
to the arrest of Afolabi Oluwatobi (24), Morakinyo
Olufemi (43), Ayodele Ademola (55) and Azeez
Rafiu (27). He added that efforts were ongoing
to recover the valuables stolen by the suspects.
The rapist among the gang members, Ademola,
said he was there with two others and that it
was his first time of taking part in robbery. He
admitted that he was the one who rapéd the
girl.
He said, "I live in Ilesa and I sell gravel. I have
never worked in Ibadan before. This is my first
time of robbing anyone in my life. I was
introduced to the game by a man who did not
go with us on the day of the operation. I met the
rest of the gang in a motor park. I rapéd a young
girl during the operation."
